How many educators are involved?

Salem-Keizer School District supports 169 beginning teachers with 7 full-time mentors and 3 part-time ones. 16 new administrators are also supported by 14 mentors.

How is the program delivered?

Beginning teachers are matched with master teachers at their grade level or in their content area as well as have the opportunity to receive coaching in classroom management, lesson design and see model lessons taught by their District Mentor.
